I thought this was a good view of what the Man of Steel would have ...

All in all, I thought this was a good view of what the Man of Steel would have become had the Waynes found him instead of the Kents. I wonder if the writer had seen Tim Burton's Batman, because there appeared to be certain influences of that movie on the plot (for instance, like Jack Napier, Luthor feels liberated by his transformation into the Joker). The only problem is that the concept would've worked better as a miniseries than a one-shot, and "Bruce" never finds out about Krypton..

As the title says heard about this comic on Variant comics on YouTube. Was not disappointed at all this comic is awesome. Seriously the whole concept of Bruce Wayne being Kal-El is a genius plotline. Plus it is one of those comics that you read once and get bored with it's one you go to again and again. Kudos to John DeMatteis this comic is awesome.

If You Liked Red Son

If you liked Red Son, you'll probably like this. Both consider what if Superman's cradle-rocket had landed anywhere but Kansas. It is what you think it is, spelled out and in color. In that sense, I got exactly what I expected and I got my money's worth. It's short and it holds your interest. Worth reading.
